Timber

Each week Havneterminalen A/S welcomes ships carrying sawn timber from Sweden, Finland and Russia, as well as a whole trainload carrying timber and paper from Lapland every single day.

Havneterminalen A/S is the direct link between sawmills in the huge forests of Scandinavia and Russia, where the timber is felled. From the sawmills the timber is transported by sea, road and rail to the Kolding Havneterminal logistics centre.

Havneterminalen A/S has more than 24,000 m2 of transit terminal facilities, handling about 400,000 m3 of timber products annually.
